    E - Commerce Manager

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The E-Commerce Manager will primarily be responsible for leading the e-commerce strategies (B2B & B2C), trends and best practices, market research , budgeting and ensure significant online presence.  Ecommerce Manager will be directly handle the decision making for Trafalgar websites, Social media accounts, and particularly advertising and content elements, collaborating with the content developers and customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Overseeing Design and Developments of Website
    • Monitor Web analytics and internal data sources
    • Supervise all activities and product development
    • Work closely with web development and technical teams
    • Prepare reports and analyse conversion numbers
    • Developing SEO/PPC Strategy/Marketing Plans

    ·       Constantly track competitors and stay abreast of sales comparison data

    • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
    • Develop and implement ecommerce strategy , research market  in order to discover new trends and technologies as a result improving website performance
    • Work with developers to improve website speed
    • Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition
    • Analyse various data in order to deliver data driven strategies for delivering top performance and achieve KPIs for the e-commerce team
    • Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media
    • Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development
    • Ensure that the e-commerce team adheres to the internal company policies

    ·       Project Development and Presentation The Ecommerce Manager will liaise directly with upper management and present their plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales.

    SUPERVISION REQUIRED/GIVEN:

    • Receives general supervision from Managing Director

     POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    ·       Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, must be able to clearly describe job duties to those they supervise, and lay out full plans to the management.

    ·       Technical Understanding: A strong grasp of modern technology and social media is essential to the job of an Ecommerce Manager. An expert understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimization, and e-marketing strategy.

    ·       Flexibility: The job of an Ecommerce Manager is unpredictable. Candidates must be willing to work long, irregular hours when needed.

    ·       Professionalism: The Ecommerce Manager will be required to oversee a team, meet with clients and designers, and present to superiors.

    • Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies
    • Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
    • Understanding and experience in UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics
    • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC ,SEO, Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major in Marketing or Business Administration.
    • Five to Eight  years of experience  developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies, excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
