Sales Associate – Kuwait
POSITION SUMMARY:
The sales associate is responsible to provide exceptional customer service in a professional timely, friendly and knowledgeable manner via face to face interaction.
The ideal Sales Associate should be an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationship with the customers.
Candidates must have the ability to sell luxury goods, offer good services to customers and continuity of business with existing and prospected clients.
Responsibilities:
- Improve the daily KPIs (UPT, ATV and Conversion Rate) by using Sales Techniques (Cross Selling & Up Selling) to reach daily and monthly sales target set by the retail management.
- Increase customer’s loyalty and increase the number of visitors to actual buyers by using convincing skills
- Keep a track for inventory(replenishment) and ensure availability of stocks in the selling area.
- Handle cash registration and identify prices of goods and process all payments according to standard procedures.
- Ensure to follow the instructions of safety and security control measures.
- Develop customer base necessary to meet all sales forecasts and budgets.
- Maintain high level of product knowledge.
- Attend exhibitions and other events as required.
- Prospecting for new business, preparing/presenting proposals and maintaining existing relationships.
- Serves as point of contact for business customers issues
- Weekly reporting and updates of sales
- Work with management to guarantee a continuously strong floor presence.
- To be professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and gracious in all interactions.
- To assume ownership of cleanliness and condition of store
- recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
- reviewing own sales performance
- gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
- any other task from line manager.
SUPERVISION REQUIRED/GIVEN:
Reports directly to Store Manager
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in promoting or selling luxury goods is definite advantage but not a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills and Positive attitude.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self motivated and ability to excel with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of internet and data connectivity products and services.
- Good PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Punctual and reliable in their work attendance.
- At least 3 years’ experience in sales.
- Proven experience in building and growing a corporate gift business.
- Strong presentation and sales skills.
- Professional maturity and business savvy.
- Diploma/ Bachelor degree in relevant field
